Records
The records division is responsible for maintaining all records and reports for the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office. Office staff works during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Records clerks are also responsible for the tracking of citations and warnings issued by the road deputies and all incident report information.
To obtain a record, interested persons are first required to fill out a Central Records Request for Public Information Form, which can be found here or picked up at the Sheriffâs Office. A fee of fifty cents per page shall be charged for reports requested. Any questions, should be directed to the records clerk at 410-548-4892 x 130. Records are only released to persons named on the record or qualified personnel (law enforcement, attorneys, insurance companies, military, etc.) We are pleased to announce that you can now obtain crash reports 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for the same fifty cents. All reports are displayed as PDF documents and require Adobe Acrobat Reader to download the document. If you do not have Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you may get it free by clicking here.
