Community Action Team

CAT investigates county-wide criminal activity including; illegal drug activity, the transport of illegal drugs in and out of Wicomico County, as well as the use and possession of illegal weapons. CAT works diligently to identify and arrest those who utilize Wicomico County to further their criminal enterprise.

CAT routinely works with allied law enforcement agencies including federal, state, county, and local authorities. CAT conducts pro-active enforcement throughout the county in an attempt to suppress violent criminal activity.

CAT also regularly assists the Criminal Investigation Division to solve serious criminal investigations. CAT investigates a variety of cases including resolving small nuisance issues to large-scale multi-jurisdictional investigations, which regularly result in serving search and seizure warrants throughout the county.
